STAGE 1
VOCAL TECHNIQUE
Each lesson begins with a Technique Spotlight, where you'll learn one focused vocal skill through a customized warm-up designed specifically for your voice. That warm-up is emailed after your session, giving you a practical tool to use throughout the week. Over time, you'll build a personalized library of exercises that reinforce healthy technique, strengthen your voice, and prepare you to spend lesson time doing what matters most—bringing your songs to life.
STAGE 2
TAILORED SONGS
Sing the music you love while developing healthy vocal technique. Rather than limiting artists to a traditional repertoire, sessions apply time-tested vocal principles through the contemporary music you already enjoy—including pop, country, rock, jazz, musical theatre, and more. Throughout the year, you'll typically work on two songs at any given time—one chosen by you and one thoughtfully selected by AJ to strengthen specific areas of your vocal development. Every song is then customized to your voice with personalized keys, tempos, backing tracks, and sheet music, creating an arrangement that allows you to perform naturally, confidently, and at your very best.
STAGE 3
SONG DEVELOPMENT
Every song is developed with patience, precision, and purpose. Rather than simply learning the notes, each session focuses on building consistent, confident performances through detailed coaching, personalized feedback, and thoughtful refinement. Challenging passages are broken into manageable steps using professional studio software, allowing difficult melodies, rhythms, and vocal runs to be mastered at a pace that builds confidence without sacrificing healthy technique. Along the way, artists develop greater musical expression, stylistic interpretation, and the confidence to deliver consistently strong performances every time they step up to the microphone.
STAGE 4
STUDIO RECORDINGS
Celebrate your progress by professionally recording the songs that mean the most to you. When you're ready, your studio experience naturally evolves into a professional recording session, complete with studio microphones, acoustic treatment, and industry-standard production tools. You'll step behind the microphone as both singer and artist, experiencing the excitement of hearing your music come to life while developing the confidence, creativity, and studio awareness that extend far beyond the recording itself. Throughout the year, you'll have the opportunity to professionally record up to four songs, creating a personalized digital EP that isn't just a collection of music—it's a lasting reflection of your growth, your artistry, and everything you've accomplished along the way.
STAGE 5
ARTIST RELEASE
Every recording is carefully mixed and mastered to celebrate your very best performance. Together, we'll review each take, compare moments, and thoughtfully select the performances that best represent your voice—transforming every recording session into a valuable learning experience. As your songs are completed, they'll become part of your personal Artist Page, where your music, recordings, and accomplishments are beautifully showcased in one place. More than a digital portfolio, it's a lasting celebration of your artistic journey and a reminder of just how far you've come.
